EncompassCulture

I checked this site before (few months ago)and worked well, but I didn't do the post because I was focusing on my study at that time, I have tried it again today in it is taking me to the British Council site and couldn't find the reading group part.
I found this site very interesting; the first hit was the digital theatre , where videos of plays from around the world are shown, some latest news especially on art and Lybia problem.
I tried to find the encompass culture through its direct website www.encompassculture.com, but still directing me to the same site.
I am not sure what am I doing differently this time, or may it is changed! Hope not!!!!

SlideShare - share presentations

SlideShare is a good tool that can be used for educationla purposes. It is easy to use and I assume it will be easy for customers as well. We might need to make our customers aware of these types of webistes and their benefits. I will promote it to customers and how it is useful.
I am not sure how to use it in the learn.nets, but definitely for training purposes it will be just perfect using the web instead of a USB taking in consideration compatibilties of programmes used.

TasteSpotting

Although am not that cook , but I have looked at the site, it looks interseting to someone who would like to try new recipes, I liked the veges dishes they have, here is the easiest one to do and healthy to eat. ":Halloumi cheese salad with kalamata olives" it contins all the yummy ingredients, no cooking , no simmering, just chop and enjoy eating.

What could someone eat better than halloumi cheese, dried tomato, kalamata olives "yummmmm" , olive oil, and "grass" ie salad green.

I will definetly add other things to modify it my own way. Some pomegranets syrup will add heavenly taste to it, that will go very well with pine nuts. HMMMMMMMMM.

anyway it is a good place to go, although I got into very bad habbit, google a recipe and do it!!!! if it didn't work then I am not a good cook and won't try it again.

FeedMyInbox - RSS made simple

To subscribe is, really, in seconds. I have subscribed to Auckland Libraries, apparentley it has 5 links or blogs and I chose them all.
It will be very easy to use by customers, I believe.
I personally might use it, casue I like to read others blogs more than webistes, it add more thoughts to me and it is from people experience, especially the academic sort of blogs. I will promote it to "blog readers" customers, it is easier to find with all the other favourites stored.
I have tried the bookmarklet , and that was easy too,

Picapp photo gallery

HAY-ON-WYE, WALES - MAY 22: Festival goers use the Reader from Sony during the Guardian Hay Festival on May 22 2009 in Hay-on-Wye, England. Sony, a new sponsor of the Guardian Hay Festival brings the Reader Digital Book - an electronic reading device described as 'a new way to read books,' which can store up to 160 eBooks under one cover and is smaller than a hardback - into the heart of the Hay Festival. (Photo by Matt Cardy/Getty Images for Sony)

this is a good site for images and photos,. Photos are clear and have a describtion with date, occasion and place.
I chose this photo because it can show the benefit of eBook Readers as they can contain all the books laying around in this photo in the one pad he has in his hands. it is magic.
I will definitely promote picapp to customers as it is an easy use website and good quality photos.

Box.net

Well O well, Box.net, it works very well with documents as they are having small size, apparently, but with photos it was along waiting with no use,
anyway "Stop complaining"
I think it is useful to keep docs on line andto share with others, it was easy to create an account, so defintley it will be useful for custoemrs who would like to save their docs when they do not have computers at home and no USB or other storage items.
It will be vry limited for work purposes, as we already have the N- drive to share docs so it won't be replaced by Box.net.
Apart fro measy access and create an account , I would rather recommend docs.google to create online docs and share it , it has more other application, and I think it is free , ther is no limit of 1 GB to be free.
